The Storehouse has been very busy in the last month, serving hundreds of customers daily. According to Eric Fuller from Albertsons Market, apples are an excellent choice for addressing food insecurity because they're nutritious and shelf-stable.

'When we look at food insecurities in the area, we want to give back and help that cause,' said Fuller. 'This donation is part of our efforts to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.'

The Roadrunner Food Bank will also be receiving some of the apple donations, which will further support the organization's mission to provide food to those in need.
